Classic Singles #11: The Trespassers – Living Memories / Come With Me (1967)

“I’m just living memories, please don’t let them die…”

Trespassers_labelThere is not much known about this band except that they came from Baltimore, MD. ‘Living Memories’ is a fine up-tempo garage psych number that literally explodes into life and has another of those oh so simple but oh so effective keyboard breaks.

‘Come With Me’ briefly gives the impression that it is going to be an understated ballad but then accelerates into an in-your-face garage punker complete with all too brief fuzz guitar solo.

Value: between $50 and $100.

Reissues: I first heard ‘Living Memories’ on Psychedelic Unknowns Volume 6 but it might be easier to track down on Pebbles Volume 14 or Mayhem and Psychosis Volume 2. ‘Come With Me’ is on The Psychedelic Experience Volume 2.
